We thank the Lord for a special trip to Michigan. This month, Lord
willing we are looking forward to a wonderful 50th wedding celebration
at the Santa Rosa Church in Fortaleza, Brazil on December 17th. Pray
for good health during that time in Brazil.

- Furlough
Mechanical difficulties with a vehicle provided a great opportunity
for us to see the Lord provide transportation in a miraculous way.
Our traveling schedule slows down for December and we rejoice in the
opportunity to spend this holiday season with family.

Praise the Lord for the salvation of Luzia. Continue in prayer for
the salvation of her husband, Gilson. Dinho, Fabiana and Karla are
back from the Bible Institute for their Christmas break. Keep praying
for clear direction for these students after graduation in several
years. We had a great visit with Dan's parents for the Thanksgiving
holidays. We all are enjoying baby Rachel's presence in the home.
Thanks to Kim's help, we are back on schedule with our schooling.

Please continue to pray for wisdom for Paul and Jerry as they work
together on additional housing for students. Thank the Lord with us
for the good visuals the students are making to accompany their Bible
lessons and the way they have offered their talents to the local pastor
to help him in young people's meetings.

Activities at camp and in the institute have kept us busy. We enjoyed
having Ed and Jane Lieb (retirees with BGFM) with us at the institute,
each teaching a course. December 10th is the last day of school. Pray
for our students during their two month summer vacation break.

Pray for the two year-end programs to be held at ALPHA on December
6th & 7th, for registration of new and returning students for
the coming school year and finances to meet all of the expenses. Pray
also for our church to clearly present the gospel message to our community
in our Christmas program December 25th.

Special Christmas
Programs
Praise the Lord with us for special Christmas programs that will be
held in each of our churches during the holiday season. Pray that
the Gospel message will be clearly presented in each community and
that hearts will be open and responsive to the truth.

Praise the Lord for His provision for a new keyboard for the church
and for finances to be able to take three of my leaders to a conference
near Sao Paulo where the ministry called Celebrating Recovery was
presented.

Pray for Nova Metropole as they look for a new pastor. Pray for wisdom
for those in leadership to know what qualities the church should look
for in a pastor. Pray as Nancy and I go with our parents on a vacation
to Gramada RS in southern Brazil. we have looked forward to this for
a long time. Pray for teachers as they prepare for Priscilla School
in January.

We praise the Lord for the missionary work our Brazilian friends,
Kleber and Adelina, are doing in Fortaleza where they live. They have
returned home after their trip to the States to visit their daughter
and family. Please pray for Kleber and Adelina who, as young retirees,
are working with a new church plant in the suburb of Jardim Guamabara.

Praise the Lord that the deed and title for the Retreat Center house
has been received. Pray for the salvation of Dr. Regis and that he
would be willing to attend one of our home Bible studies. Pray for
us as we plan for furlough from May to December of 2005.

We are grateful for the continued growth in the new church work in
Jardim Guamabara. Please pray that those who have recently made decisions
woud grow in the knowledge of the Lord through His Word. We thank
the Lord for an encouraging mission's conference/retreat hosted by
Planalto Church. Pray that those who attended would continue to be
challenged to reach the lost in our city, state and around the world.
Youth Retreats
January is vacation month for schools in Brazil. During that time
several youth retreats are planned to encourage the young people in
their walk with the Lord. Pray for wisdom for those planning the retreats
and finalizing the details of arranging speakers and counselors.

We are thankful for good classes at the Antioch Bible Institute. Pray
for our vacation time in Gramado RS with Lucy and Nancy and then our
return trip to the States.

We thank God for each of you who have been praying for us through
another year (some of you do this even though you do not know us).
Pray for us as we continue to report to the churches and individuals
concerning what God has been doing through us in NE Brazil. Continue
to pray for the salvation of Valmir's wife, Marta in Caucaia. She
recently asked prayer in regard to her salvation.
SIBIMA Seminary
The enrollment process for next semester is beginning. Pray for new
students to enroll as a result of our outreach group.

Pray for wisdom in knowing what areas of ministry I should continue
being involved in next year.

Praise the Lord for a good teen day camp. Pray that the lessons the
teens learned will have an impact in their daily lives. Pray for the
deaf ministry team at Planalto Church as they meet and get things
ready to be able to implement this important ministry beginning in
January.

Praise for a successful meeting with eight couples. Pray for future
meetings, at different couple's homes. Praise for a good visit in
the town of Arcoiaba. Praise for a quick recovery of our stolen car
October 5th. Pray for the salvation of the following couples: Josimar
& Gerusia, Luiz & Teresa (Luiz is doing a Bible study) and
Roberio & Lucimar (parents of two saved teenagers). Pray for special
year-end ministry activities.

We praise the Lord for His direction as we are settling back into
the work in Brazil. Pray for the preparation of our Christmas program
at church, that it can clearly present the message of salvation to
all who will attend. Pray also as we set goals for the new year in
our church ministry. We desire to reach out to some new areas and
people with the Gospel.

Praise God with us for multiple ministry opportunities and good health
for all four of us. Pray for us to be wise in prioritizing these ministry
opportunities. Pray for the right families to register their children
at ALPHA for the 2005 school year and for more funds for scholarships.

Our daughter Renee has completed five months of ministry at the ALPHA
School. She had a wonderful time teaching English and elementary computer.
She loved ministering along with Brazilians. Pray for God's direction
for her future concerning studies and service.

During the school break time we helped at Rio Grande Bible Institute.
Pray that we may be a real help and encouragement to those ministering
in the Spanish speaking world.
Priscilla School
Pray for the students as they enroll for the school in January and
do the preliminary work. Pray for the teachers as they prepare for
the classes they will be teaching.
Annual Field Conference
January 3rd through 9th our missionaries will be attending the annual
field conference in Brazil. Pray that this will be a time of spiritual
refreshing for each of our missionaries. Pray also for Pastor Tom
Zobrist as he prepares the Bible studies for those days. Pray for
the Lord's protection as the missionaries travel to the conference.

As we end another year I want to personally thank you for being a
faithful prayer partner of the BGFM missionaries and ministries. God
has richly blessed and answered your prayers. Together we can thank
God for many Brazilians that came to the Lord and that the believers
and churches are growing.
