Pray with us as we may have some difficult decisions to make in the near future concerning Sue's health. She has a nodule on her liver. Further exams are being done to determine the next steps.

We are now beginning to get settled into our new ministry in Morada Nova. Please continue to pray for more contacts and that many would trust in our Lord and Savior.
Larry & Ruth Lipka - Home Office
October is filled with minstry opportunities. Larry will be preaching at a special week of meetings Oct. 2nd-7th in Illinois. Then both Larry and Ruth will travel to South Dakota, Nebraska and Wyoming where they will challenge young people with missions at two Bible colleges Oct. 17th-26th. Ruth will be teaching several classes for young women. They will also be presenting missions in two churches. Pray for their preparations and effectiveness in ministry. Ask God to bless their travels with His protection and provision.
Joe & Jeanie Stucky
Pray for the spiritual growth of Paulo, Guacira and Neide and new believers who are being discipled. Pray for the salvation of Branca, Paulo's sister. Pray for our church people to faithfully visit the unsaved who attended our recent evangelistic meetings and that they would accept Jesus.
Harold & Ruth Green - Home Office
The Lord directing, October 7th-17th we will be traveling to Corning, New York to participate in a mission's conference. Pray for safety in travel and that our lives will be a blessing to those we minister to. Pray for wisdom as Harold implements the wealth of information gained from the recent Mpower Conference in Dallas, TX in our Mission's accounting program.

Thank the Lord, and thank you for praying, for the two young mothers having mental problems. One improved greatly when her anemia and an infection were corrected. She found special Bible passages which helped her depression and is back encouraging other young women as she did in the past.
Alisa Pierschbacher - Appointee
Thank God for His faithfulness in what He has already provided for my outgoing expenses. Please pray for me as I work on various tasks that need to be accomplished for my pre-field ministry. Pray that I can accomplish this in a timely manner.

I didn't serve at SIBIMA Seminary in September so I could help Lucy get our apartment ready for someone to live in while she is on furlough. Pray for wisdom in deciding how much time I should spend a SIBIMA this semester.
Jonathan & Chima Nichols
Praise the Lord for the diligence and delight of the nine students from Caninde in doing their Hermeneutics homework, and for their example to students from other churches in Ceara. We are thankful that Bruce Nichols has joined Pastor Valdemir and me in this leadership training ministry. He began teaching a course on the first eleven chapters of Genesis on August 26th. Pray that Pastor Manoel de Deus would be able to bring a group of students from Pedra branca in the near future, as he desires.

Pray that all of those associated with Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission will be faithful witnesses.
Ellie Driesenga - Furlough
Please pray for Jennifer Schulder, my roommate, and me to have opportunities to minister to the girls in the dorms while we study at Calvary Bible College. Also pray that we would grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ as we continue our studies this semester.

Pray for Dinho's salvation. Pray that God will open doors as we begin a new work in another area of town. Pray that the Lord would use our emphasis on missions this month to encourage our people to evangelize here in Brazil and to the uttermost parts of the earth.

Praise the Lord for record enrollment at Frontier School of the Bible and Cornerstone Bible Institute. Pray that we may be able to influence students for missions as we are at both schools.
Jerry & Bev Lehrman
We have three young people at our church who have tremendous potential for the Lord, but have chosen to date unbelievers. Pray that they might see the need according to God's Word, for breaking off these relationships. Roberta, an unsaved young lady has been attending some services and has asked for someone to do a Bible Study with her. Pray that she will be convicted of her need and ask Jesus Christ into her life.
Dale & Carol Johnson
Praise God for the way the Bible Correspondence Courses are being used. One lady wrote that she was so proud and selfish, even with evil thought of killing her own sister, but now God has transformed her life. Two ladies are encouraging many others to study the courses and are asking for extra copies of the courses to give out.
Al & Nadine Pierschbacher - Furlough
Praise the Lord for good travels this past month and many opportunities to share the ministry in Brazil with friends, supporters and supporting churches. Praise the Lord for some increase in our support. Pray that additional support will come in by January 2006 when we hope to return to the field. Pray that we will find return passage to Brazil at reasonable prices. Pray for the salvation of Kerginaldo, Joe and Val and Joe Antonio. Pray for the preparations for our new church plant to begin in 2006.
Bible Camp Ministry
We are thankful for the work Klaynilton has done, but we have had to make some changes in our plans for the rest of the year. Pray with us that we will still be used to challenge young people, adults and children to grow in their spiriual lives through the camp ministry.

Pray for those confused in religion to know the only true God and His son, Jesus Christ.

We praise the Lord for the privilege of traveling throughout the United States, being awestruck with the beauty of God's creation and the privilege of serving Him. We still have 7,000 miles to go as we report on God's workings in the land of Brazil and request your continued prayers for our safety. Pray for God to use us to touch the lives of those around us even as they enrich our lives in return.

Praise the Lord with us for new contacts being made in Pacajus. Pray for Daniel and Flavio, who have started Bible study courses. Pray for others being reached through personal contact, at the market ministry and open air evangelistic meetings.
Priscilla School - Teacher Training for Women
Pray for wisdom as we finalize plans for Priscilla School in Fortaleza in January. Pray as we look for a good location, teachers and students. With the value of the dollar decreasing we need to determine whether we should raise the amount each student pays.
Pajucara Bible Church
Praise the Lord for the Pastoral Council's decision to have Tiago participate in our Saturday afternoon prayer and planning meetings with the goal of his eventually becoming a pastor. Tiago, a gifted preacher, is a member of the church and a senior at SIBIMA seminary. Pray for God's strength for Pastor Marcos Joel to fulfill his heavy load of responsibility as husband, father, preacher, businessman and university student. In December he hopes to graduate from the university.

Wendell & Florence Ann Hayden - Retired
Segundo and Lele are a young Brazilian couple who love the Lord. Lele would like to be a stay at home mom and care for their baby daughter but presently finds it necessary to continue in her job. Please pray that Segundo might find work that would allow this young mother to be at home.
Nova Metropole Bible Church
Continue in prayer for God's provision of a pastor for the Nova Metropole Bible Church. Pray for encouragement and wisdom for Marcos who has been leading the church this past year.
Ed & Jane Lieb - Retired
Please pray for Jane's sister, brothers and spouses as we travel to Myrtle Beach for a week of vacation together. We are looking forward to a great time of fun and fellowship.
Jonathan & Denielle Johnson - Appointee
We continue to enjoy what God is doing in our lives and adjusting to married life. Pray that our relationship with each other would reflect the relationship Jesus has with the church. Pray for our hearts and minds to be focused on ministry.
National Leadership
For many years, especially the '60s and '70s, missionaries and prayer supporters asked God for faithful men to serve as leaders in our churches and special ministries. We also prayed for spiritually strong and well trained women. Women willing to serve in their home, as godly mothers and wives, along with serving in the local church and community. Many that have visited the field in the last couple of years have shared how impressed they were with the number and quality of the Brazilians serving in every capacity. Thank God with us for your faithful brothers and sisters in Christ serving so faithfully in Northeast Brazil.
Gerald & Amy Bergen - Retired
We praise the Lord for ministry opportunities in and through our church. Pray for wisdom for Gerald as he prepares his syllabus for his classes at Antioch Bible Institute. Both of us plan to minister in Brazil for about two and a half months beginning in January.
