& Nadine Pierschbacher - Furlough
Pray for our travels out west and for God's provision of needed prayer and support team members. Praise the Lord for 6 great Vacation Bible Schools and the many children and parents who were touched with the Gospel. Pray for God's provision for the New Hope Bible Training and Retreat Center. Praise the Lord for the excellent times we have had with supporters, friends and family.

We praise the Lord for the good opportunity we had in helping preparea mission trip to Brazil. We are now preparing for our daughter Lucy's arrival on furlough. She will be making her base here with us, and we look forward to the time with her.

Florence Ann Hayden - Retired
We're excited about the new pastor our church has called. Please pray for hte Lord's blessing on him and hte congregation as he begins his ministry with us this month. September 10th will be the first ever family reunion for Florence Ann's family. It wil be here in Independence, MO. We thank the Lord for this opportunity to have her siblings and their families together here. Pray for God's blessing on our time together.

Praise that we were able to acquire a second house to serve our guests. The months of June, July and August were challenging since we only had two extra guest rooms. Pray as I speak for the two ladies retreats the last two weekends in September.
Priscilla School
Lucy and I (Nancy) are looking for a place to hold the January Priscilla school in Fortaleza. Pray with us to find affordable accommodations.
Larry & Ruth Lipka
During September Ruth and I will be preparing for our fall meetings at Bible Colleges. Pray for our planning and preparations. Pray that we will be used of God to challenge young lives for missionary service. Pray that some will be directed of God to serve with BGFM.
SIBIMA
At the end of July we had just a few registrations for SIBIMA classes so we are looking for many to register before classes begin. Pray that scholarship money will come in to help the students from our churches.
Ellie Driesenga - Furlough
Praise the Lord for the blessings I received visiting churches these last two months. Please pray for my studies at Calvary Bible College this semester. Also pray that the Lord would open doors to minister and encourage others while I am in Kansas City.
Ron & Nancy Johnson
Praise for a wonderful mini retreat with 19 youth from our church. Praise for growth in their lives. Pray as Lydia comes down this month to begin student teaching for one year at the Fortaleza Academy.
Philip & Rachel Stucky - Furlough
We are on a three month, cross-country trip visiting our support team in the USA and sharing with them what God is doing in the land of Brazil. Pray for continued safety as we travel and a wonderful time of fellowship with these special partners in ministry. Pray in a special way for our youngest son, Mark, who is beginning life on his own at The Master's College in Los Angeles, that he would grow in his knowledge and love of our God as he prepares for full-time Christian service.

Please pray for the laymen in our churches who are doing well at exhortation in their sermons but need help in giving encouragement. Also pray for two young mothers struggling with mental problems, that we may know how to help them.

Praise the Lord for strength and good health during very busy times. Pray for wisdom from God as we make hundreds of decisions each week in our home and ministries.

We praise God for a new church planting ministry opportunity in the town of Pacajus, a good rental house to live in and that our move went smoothly. Pray for contacts and friendships for effective witness. Pray for wisdom regarding ministry development and strategies.
Harold & Ruth Green
Along with all that is involved in preparing for the Semi-Annual Business meeting on the 16th, we will, the Lord willing, be traveling to Dallas, Texas to attend the annual Users Conference for those entities that are using the Mpower Systems accounting program. We are avidly looking forward to this conference as there are training sessions available as well as opportunities to meet with other users for experience exchanges. And, while that close to our son Tim and family (250 miles), why not take opportunity to enjoy quality time together in Houston?

Pray for those confused in religion to know the only true God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
BGFM Semi-Annual Business Meeting
The Semi-Annual Business Meeting of the BGFM will be September 16th. Pray for preparations for the meeting and for those traveling to and from Springfield.

September will be a very busy month with three retreats at Camp and two four day events in Fortaleza, as well as our on going activities with the Institute and church. We thank the Lord for these opportunities of service but also covet your prayers for wisdom and strength.
Jerry & Bev Lehrman
We need wisdom as we are involved in teaching - Jerry at the Bible Institute and Bev as she home schools our children. Our desire is to teach the truths of the Word of God and how to apply them in our daily lives. Pray that we can be faithful in the responsibilities that God has given us.
Joe & Jeanie Stucky
Mel and Dolora Koehn (friends from college) along with their two daughters and three grandchildren will be with us for three weeks this month. pRay for good health and a profitable time of ministry.
Gerald & Amy Bergen - Retired
Thank the Lord for strength and health to be able to finish our basement. We are almost finished! Sam Stucky and Gloria are coming in September. Pray that the Lord will use us to encourage believers going through difficulties.
BGFM Home Office Staff
We are grateful to the Lord for the way in which He provides various ones to be a part of our team in the Home Office. Jacob Williams has been a member of our staff for about a year now and this month is beginning his course of study at Cornerstone Bible Institute in South Dakota. Pray for him in all the adjustments of college life and for the Lord's direction concerning future ministry. We would appreciate your prayers for Karen Williams, Jacob's mother, who is taking his place as our data entry person, as each week she learns new aspects of the responsibilities in this position.
National Pastors
We are thankful to the Lord for over sixty national pastors He has prepared for ministry. Pray that these men would be faithful in their devotional times and diligent in preparation and teaching the truth of God's Word. Pray that their hearts would be encouraged in ministry today.
Berean Camp
Klaynilton, our program director, has been working practically on his own since Ellie left for furlough. Working alone has been very difficult and the events haven't been cost effective. Pray with us as we look for someone to work with him who can help especially with the finances.

Alisa Pierschbacher - Appointee
Pray for wisdom as I prepare several five minute preseentations to share with the churches and individuals with whom I make contacts. Praise the Lord that I had a great time helping along with my parents in two Vacation Bible Schools.
Roger & Crystal Johansen
Pray that we will grow in the love of our Lord, and that His love will be manifested through our lives to our children and neighbors. Pray for Dinho, Celia, Aldeir and Heloisa to make a decision to accept Christ. Praise the Lord for the many decisions for Christ already this year.
Evangelism
Thank you for praying with us for five Brazilian couples to help in the evangelism of five major towns in the mountains of Ceara. Continue in prayer concerning the outreach of the Gospel in Pacoti, Plamacia, Mulungu, Aratuba and Guaramiranga. There is a great need for the Gospel in these locations since less than one percent profess to be believers.
Pedra Branca Bible Church
Pray for Pastor Manuel as he pastors the church and direcs the Christian school in Pedra Branca. Pray for the Lord's provision of teaching materials that are needed for the school.
Thankful Hearts
Thank the Lord with us for answers to prayer. Each month we read of the salvation of adults and children, of believers growing in their walk with the Lord and of Brazilian pastors and missionaries encouraged in their ministries. Thank God with us for those who are faithfully praying day by day for BGFM ministries.
Radio Ministry
Praise the Lord for the new radio program Monday through Friday potentially reaching three million people in the Fortaleza and Caucaia area. Pray for wisdom concerning the program in Camocim and the possibility of a new program in Limoeiro. Pray that the Word of God will touch hearts and changes lives by means of the air waves.
