We praise the Lord for His faithful provision for our younest son, Mark, who has just completed his first semester of study at Master's College in Los Angeles. He has been concerned about the the high cost of tuition, but has done so well academically that he will now be eligible for a higher scholarship package, which will help him pay his bills. Continue praying for God's direction in his life. He is excited about his studies and is adjusting to life in the States.

In September the doctor told Jeanne there are two tumors growing again which would need to be taken care of in the spring. However, in the past weeks Jeanne has been having some severe headaches. Pray for wisdom to know if the treatment should be earlier. The retirement center ministry continues to be a real blessing to us as we minister there twice a month. Pray for Sam as recently he was asked to serve as a deacon at our church.

We thank the Lord for two Brazilian pastor's wives who live close enough to Antioch Bible Institute so that they can teach once a week. Both have the patience which is needed to teach how-to-do-it courses like teacher training. Both are ABI graduates, and are now studying to prepare themselves for the time when we'll need them. Besides this extra responsibility, they face many tasks, and sometimes discouragements, that go along with being a pastor's wife. Please pray for them.
Gerald & Amy Bergen - Retired
We praise the Lord for restored health after Gerald's heart prblem. The doctor gave him the green light to go to Brazil on January 18th. Please pray with us as we minister at the Antioch Bible Institute. Gerald will be teaching Pastoral Theology, and Amy will be teaching some classes to the women.
