Please pray for our new work in Village Campreste which is a neighborhood of Maceio. There are around 60,000 souls that need the Lord in this area of the city. Pray for open doors. Pray for our seminary students to be faithful in their classes and grow in the Lord this semester.
David & Connie Johnson
Praise for an excellent week of children's classes with many decisions for Christ. Pray for follow-up Bible studies. Praise the Lord with us for the salvation of an elderly couple, Luiz and Maria. Praise forr good weekly meetings in homes; continue praying for a good central location. Pray for many homes being visited in the Pacajus area. Praise that Flavio and Rejania desire to return to the Lord after many years. Pray for wisdom as they deal with some serious family situations.
Al & Nadine Pierschbacher
Praise the Lord for our safe arrival in Brazil. We are hard at work at the Retreat Center converting the old dining room into another bedroom with a bath. Three neighboring properties have come up for sale. Pray that the Lord will give them to us or give us good neighbors. Pray for the new church plant that we are starting. Pray for my mom, Betty Pierschbacher, who suffered a mild stroke in late January. She is doing well, pray for a good recovery and good health. Thank you all for praying..

Please pray that students would be directed toward a lifetime of service as they come from the Alaska Bible College to spend a week working at the Rio Grande Bible Institute. Pray for wisdom for us as we plan for other groups.

Pastor Raimundo and his family will be moving to Morada Nova the beginning of this month. Pray for progress in the Jaguraribe River Valley campground. Our children are having birthdays in February and March. Pray for us that we may guide them in our Lord's ways. We are thankful to have them in our family.

Praise for good health reports for Ed. Pray for Ed as he preaches at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on March 8th. Pray for a safe and pleasant trip to the mission banquet the latter part of March.
Jerry & Bev Lehrman
We are grateful for the good group of students we have at the Bible Institute who show a real desire to learn and prepare for future ministry. Pray for Jerry's classes on "How to Preach" with eight of the upper classmen, and "How to studdy the Bible" with all of the students. Pray that these classes can be a real benefit in these students lives. Pray also for spiritual growth in the lives of new believers we are discipling at our church in Sambaiba.
Alisa Pierschbacher - Appointee
Praise that some pastors are returning my calls and my schedule is taking shape. Continue to pray for me as I wait on the Lord to hear from other pastors that I have called. Another praise is that I now have at least 40% of my support. Praise be to God for his faithfulness.
Lucy Lieb - Furlough
Praise that I have been able to update my mailing list. Pray as I finish working on a presentation. Pray also for safe travels as I present my ministry in supporting churches and other opportunities the Lord opens.

We deeply appreciate your faithful prayers on our behalf. March 25th will be the Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission's Annual Business Meeting and Banquet. We would appreciate your prayers for Harold as he prepares financial statements and reports for the Board and for Ruth and Barb Sanders as they finalize details for the banquet.
Wendell & Florence Ann Hayden - Retired
In October we asked prayer for Segundo and Lele, a young couple in Brazil who faithfully serve the Lord. Lele asked prayer that she might quit work and be a stay-at-home mom. Last week she wrote that Segundo found a new job and she is now at home caring for their baby girl. Thank you for praying, and praise the Lord with us for this answer to prayer. Please pray for our ministry in eastern Iowa on March 12th.

Praise God for our allocation to the city of Tiangua on the western border of Ceara. Lord willing, we plan to move there before the end of this year. Praise God for the growing acceptance of the Pajucara pastors by church members. Praise God for many new students planning to come for Bible training at Santa Quiteria this year. Praise for the many opportunities Chima has had to serve our missionaries and those of other missions as a nurse. Pray for Praus and Chara as they prepare for graduation this year and go to college this coming fall. Pray for the salvation of our friends, Humberto and Howard.

Praise the Lord for a good Priscilla School in Fortaleza in January with 42 students. Five graduated from beginners, one from the advanced course and one finished the nine year course. Pray for wisdom as we begin planning for the school at Silver Lake Bible Camp in July.

We continue to thank God for Rosie's visit and pray for spiritual growth in the lives of the two girls she had the joy of leading to the Lord. Pray for the construction project at our church's outstation in Butija. Pray for the spiritual construction of the lives of new believers at both Jereissati and Butija. Pray for wisdom as we prepare for furlough in August 2006.

We are thankful to be back in Brazil after a special time in the States with our sons, our families and our supporters. We appreciate your prayers for us as we settle into the ministry in Maceio, that we would be an encouragement to our fellow missionaries and a blessing to the believers there. As we minister in Maceio, pray that the Lord would grant us wisdom in forming a team to open a new field of ministry in south Brazil.

We have some good news about Sue's treatments. At the start the doctor had ordered a blood exam called Cell Search and then again after the sixth treatment. The first test showed 1200 cells and the second showed only three. She will have two more treatments and then be scanned for cancer activity. Pray for the doctor as he decides on what more to do. The institute began classes the last week of January with Jerry Lehrman at the helm. Retired missionaries Gerald and Amy Bergen are also each teaching a class. Pray for them and for Aguiar, Elaine Syers and Evonildes as they teach.

Pray with us as missionaries are needed on our field for: church planting; instructor of Bible and Music at Antioch Bible Institute; career and short-term English teachers for the ALPHA Christian School and other short-term ministry opportunities.

Please continue to pray with us for the 18 year-old ABI student who this year plans to marry a 16 year-old girl who still has two more years of high school. Pray that the Christian couple this boy lives with may give him wise counsel. He has not lived with his unbelieving parents for a number of years.

Thank God that Ruth and I have had several opportunities to present our burden for Brazil in churches and colleges since the beginning of the year. Pray especially that some would be willing to serve as career missionaries with the BGFM in Brazil.

Please pray as I study for classes and visit churches during the weekends. March 17th to 27th is Calvary's spring break so I will be traveling and visiting churches during that time.

Praise the Lord for the 6:30-7:00 AM Ecos do Calvario Gospel radio program in Fortaleza. Due to the lack of radio ministry funds the daily program in Camocim was cancelled. Pray that the Lord will raise up more donors to put truth on the air waves in Camocim again.

Please pray for the new church planting work in Morada Nova. Pray for the Bible studies with the Kids Clubs, which are held weekly and for the salvation and spiritual growth of those that attend.

We praise God for you who faithfully for us. Bruce was recently elected chairman of the BGFM Field Council. Pray for wisdom from above to make right business decisions and to lead our missionaries spiritually. Pray for wisdom as Bruce pastors the Caucaia Bible Church, teaches pastors and leaders at the satellite school in Santa Quiteria and leads our family for God's glory.
BGFM Annual Business Meeting and Banquet
March 25th will be the Annual Business Meeting and Banquet of the Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission. Pray for wisdom as decisions are made in the business meeting and that the friends of the mission who attend the banquet will be blessed with excellent fellowship and a challenging evening in world missions.
National Pastor - Pastor Aguiar
Pastor Aguiar is teaching two classes at the Antioch Bible Institute during the absence of Dave and Sue Eldert. Thank God with us for his desire to do this and that his ministry there will be a blessing to each of the students. Pray also for wisdom as he pastors and encourages the believers in the Bible Church in the small town of Cruz.

Construction is a necessary part of the growing ALPHA School ministry. Please pray for protection as we are working 12 to 25 feet on the second level of our new classroom building. Pray also for the $10,000 needed for an insulated roof we hope to install within the next two months.

Pastor Nelson has been pastor of the Acarau Bible Church for several years and the believers are growing in their walk with the Lord. Pray for Pastor Nelson as he desires to establish godly men in the leadership of the church and that these men would be faithful to God in their responsibilities.

Pray that the "Share Jesus Without Fear" evangelism classes we are having in our small group will result in helping people communicate the truth of the gospel and that many people will put their trust in Jesus for salvation.
